1. The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis. 1955 Book One of The Chronicles of Narnia. Diggory and Polly meet by accident and are soon swept into another world thanks to Uncle Andrew and his rings. Upon a visit to Charn, they pick up a witch who returns to wreak havoc in their world. Together, they get hold of her to take her back but end up in Narnia. Oh, the adventures they have!! What a cute book!! I mistakenly ordered The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe first and discovered it was Book Two. So, I hurriedly reserved the first and got a copy in mere days from my library. Highly recommended!!
My son really enjoys the Narnia books, but my daughter hasn't read them yet. This reminds me to introduce them to her.
