1. The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. 1950 HarperCollins Children’s Books. Two brothers and two sisters go into the wardrobe during a game of hide-and-seek and stumble onto a world called Narnia. When Lucy finds herself there at first, the others are hard-pressed to believe her. And when her brother, Edmund, finds his way in, he lies to the others that it’s all pretend. What a charming tale this is!! The adventures of the children, their meeting with Aslan, and the war with the white witch is fun to read. I’m off to reserve the third in the series but I might get distracted by a little book called, The Game of Thrones.
