1.      The Haunting Season by Michelle Muto. Skyscape 2012, YA. This one was totally and utterly creepy!! And I LOVED it!! This is the story of four teens brought to a haunted house for an experiment by a secret branch of the government. Each has their own gift: Jess, sees ghosts; Allison has been possessed by demons; Gage can bring back the dead, and Bryan can make things literally disappear. The story begins with the hope of Jess being reunited with her deceased father and grandmother but she soon comes to realize there are other things waiting at Siler House. Things that will eat you alive. If you’ve missed this one, Run and get a copy!! You won’t regret it!!

2.      Andersonville by Edward M. Erdelac. Hydra Aug. 18 2015. Arc from Netgalley. Horror. I have to be honest, at first I thought this was just a Civil War novel and parts of it were very hard to read as the brutality of the period but then something wonderful happened, it turned into a hard-to-put-down book. Barclay Lourdes sneaks his way onto a train delivering Union soldiers to the southern prison, Andersonville, disguising himself as a dead soldier. Once there, he goes about his mission and discovers that Andersonville is more than just a prison but a place of utmost evil where the forces of hell fight to overtake it. I highly recommend this!!
